It's about time!

WE finally got a blog!! (All thanks to the fabulous me, Woody!!) summer is finally in and school is OUT!

I went to the eighth grade continuation to perform with the school band, (i play the flute), and I saw that the people who got a 4.0 GPA all three years at the school, (6th, 7th, and 8th grades), they got an award and (eek,) gave a speech!I might have to do this too, considering I am well on my way, having two years down!

Chloe is now a 4th grader, and that seems crazy! She went with Dad to the Rockies (baseball)opening day this year since we have season tickets! Her friends and her did a talent show dance to the song, "Supergirl," by Saving Jane. they had pink superman shirts on, and looked so cute, a picture / video will soon be posted of that!!!Her Spanish has improved a lot this last year, Chloe and I have been in the dual language programs at school since Kinder! This year she had the same teacher I had!!

Evee is doing full-day kindergarten next year and is looking foreword to it! Her mind is expanding greatly with all these new experiences! She loved her teacher this year and already has a couple little boyfriends who make cards for her with hearts all over! My mom said she worries about high school with this one;)

I was in track this year, and I did really well!! I went to quite a few track meets, and placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in all my events, except one meet, we don't know, (our ribbons got lost in the mail...). I won the 200 meter dash, and my relay team won the 4x200 race won in the county championships, and got medals for each of those, then got ribbons as well for the medley relay, 4x100, and the 100 meter dash that meet! It was loads of fun this year, and I am training hard for next year! Although, my height may give me a little advantage... I am almost 6'!! Another inch to go!!
Mom and Dad have kept as busy as bees, saving the world one PTA at a time, (call my mom if you haven't heard that story.... ) She keeps our house a loving, orderly home and cooks the BEST meals!! She is ecstatic that she doesn't have to make school lunches any more, and is still very tired from handling three kids all day now! She will be helping the community theater that Chloe and I are participating in this summer, Alice in Wonderland! I am the Walrus, and the Mock Turtle, while Chloe is giving her knees a break from crawling as Toto in the Wizard of OZ, and being a Lady in the Court, and a Dancing Card!
Evee had her 6th birthday in May, and after we FINALLY get the hang of this, we will out some more pictures up. The theme was Barbie and the Diamond Castle.. My day was full of screaming girls in pink outfits..FUN!! Her dance recital was amazing too! She really loves it! She also has a gymnastics class with her friend, Lauren, and she is liking that too! Thanks from that, she has rock-hard abs!
Dad's work is prospering, interior trim is as good as ever... he coached Chloe's soccer team and is going down to the Rockies games as much as possible! He is just like Popa Ron, loving baseball, although the Red Sox are MUCH better than the Rockies....
